Circumcision
* A person is not a Jew who is one only outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical. No, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit , not by the written code (Romans 2:28-9; NIV).
*Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only’ ” (Luke 4:8; NIV).
* Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!” (John 20:28; NIV).
Father,
By the power of your Holy Spirit,
Please circumcise my mind,
My heart,
And my soul.
Mark me for life,
So everyone will know
I belong to you,
My Lord and my God,
And you only will I worship and serve.
