Whatever you do or say,
do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus.
(Colossians 3:17; NLT).
Lord,
1. Help me turn my exile
Into pilgrimage.
2. Help me turn my selfishness
To care.
3. Help me turn my suffering
To service.
4. Help me turn my whole life
Into prayer.

A beautiful prayer, Ruth, and so needful. I need a lot of help and a lot of prayer! xxx
Thank you so much for your kind words, Lesley. I’ve got flu and feel dreadful, so your comment is both welcome and cheering xxxxxx
Look after yourself, Ruth, and be sure to get medical help should you feel you need it. You can do without flu on top of everything else. xxx
That’s so kind, Lesley, and I’ll remember what you said. I don’t think anything can be done at present, really. I’m due for blood tests at the hospital tomorrow, and a infusion in Oncology on Tuesday, but I’m not well enough to travel, plus, I must be very infectious, so really shouldn’t go near anyone else with cancer, either. Will ask John to ring tomorrow, to see if it can all be re-arranged. Take care yourself, won’t you? With love from Ruth XXXX
Oh Ruth, I trust it will be sorted in the best way for you. I think, under the circumstances, they’ll arrange your bloods and infusion to be done at home. xxx
Kindest and most generous of women! I’m sure they will reschedule both appointments for when I’m well enough. The blood test is to check if I can go ahead with the infusion, and the infusion can make me feel ill, even without having an infection already. I just wouldn’t cope with it at present. XXXXXXX
Yes, of course, I didn’t think of that! Looks like it’s snuggling under the duvet and lemsips for you just now. ☺xxx
That’s exactly what I’m doing, though with paracetamol instead of lemsip! XXXXXX
Thank goodness for paracetamol – it’s a good standby. 😊 xxx
Indeed! I wasn’t allowed to take it for years, because of my migraines, but now I seem to be okay, as long as I only have it occasionally xxxxx
