As Christ did

1. In joy, Lord,
May I worship you,
As Christ did
When he walked this earth.

2. In trials, Lord,
May I cling to you,
As Christ did,
With faith unsurpassed.

3. In grief, Lord,
May I cry to you,
As Christ did
When he lost all hope.

4. In death, Lord,
May I call your name,
As Christ did
When he breathed his last.

  • Our Lord and Saviour sets us the best holy example, how fervently we should cling to our Father God at all times. I really love the way that your poems have clear, simple structures in them. They are perfectly formed for meditation.
Today is a difficult thus far, I am extremely tired from pain meds which I needed last night. But God provides, of that I am certain. May He bless you and yours today Ruth.

    • Hi, Alan, I’m so sorry that you are having a bad day. However you are, you are safe in our Father’s hands. Thank you for your praise and encouragement. XXXX
